The interesting thing about Buddhism is that it’s perhaps the one religion that you can joke around with a bit, in friendly fashion, without possibly being stoned in response. It combines a “we don’t take ourselves too seriously” attitude with an absolute commitment to vast cosmic depths of space and time: a remarkable combination.
