Meillassoux cover options

The fun activity of the evening is looking over the 4 possible covers for Meillassoux: Philosophy in the Making that Edinburgh’s design staff prepared with lightning speed. I’d love to post them and run a reader poll, but this still feels like secret internal design stage, so I’d better not.

Suffice it to say that:

*All of the designs feature the same Peter Hallward photo of Meillassoux from S.R. I in 2007 at Goldsmiths. Hallward gave his permission, of course.

*The 4th is a close-up profile version of the shot.

*The first three all feature Meillassoux’s finger jabbing the air to make a point– and a ghostly, hazy image of a melancholic-looking Iain Hamilton Grant in the background.
