Sorry for having just a few crumbs to share this evening, but I’m absolutely crushed with responsibilities for tomorrow.

Tonight was an interesting lecture by Nabil Fahmy, our new Dean of Global Affairs and Public Policy, who was also Egyptian Ambassador to the USA during a crucial 9-year period that included 9/11.

Nuclear disarmament was the topic, and it was a more optimistic presentation than I expected. He had some clever insights concerning Iran, but seemed slightly more pessimistic about India/Pakistan disarmament. It was well covered by the media, so some of his remarks may be out and about tomorrow.
