Mum’s still the word on my own choice for “most overrated philosopher ever.” But I think the principles I outlined this morning for deciding who it is are right. (I don’t feel like hosting a blog firestorm on that topic at the moment, and besides, I want to save my choice for a provocative essay at some point.)
