Plastic Surgery

I’ll be publishing “Plastic Surgery for the Monadology: Leibniz via Heidegger” in the Australian journal CULTURAL STUDIES REVIEW.

It’s not there yet; that’s just a link to the journal itself, which has recently gone online. The expected publication date for the article is September.

The initial version of that article goes way back to April 2005, when it was an invited lecture to Daniel Selcer’s class at Duquesne University (which is in Pittsburgh, for those outside the U.S. who don’t know it). But it’s been redone multiple times since then. For some reason I was never happy with any of the various versions of it. Now it’s looking pretty good, though.
