“OOP classic”
January 8, 2010
I’ve just added a new category of posts called “OOP classic,” in the same spirit as “ESPN classic” or “Coca-Cola classic.” Those will be all the old posts I retrieve from the first version of this blog.
So far there are 22. But those were actually all from January 2009. I still need to go back and decide what to rescue from February and early March. Not sure if that will happen today or not.
Other than those rescue activities, I will be making few if any new posts for the next couple of days. I’ll be reading posts rather than writing them!
I’ll also be going through the old posts and fixing the format as well as a few outright errors (how, for example, could I have said that we were approaching the 300th anniversary of anything involving Leibniz? and I said it twice in the same post; crazy).
One thing I probably will not be doing, I’m afraid, is reattaching all the links. It would simply take too long. So, capital letters with a dead link may be one of those trademark features of OOP classic posts.
