Cameron noticed the same line I did:

“. . . le style de Harman, qui évoque souvent celui d’un William James jumelé à l’esprit d’H.P. Lovecraft . . .”

William James and H.P. Lovecraft probably have more of a Popeye/HAL sort of relation than any other two authors in the Library of America crowd. It’s really quite funny to imagine James trying to read Lovecraft (but James, of course, was dead by the time HPL was maybe 20 years old). But sure, I’d die happy if I could combine the styles of James and Lovecraft. It sounds like a worthy project, and I’m delighted if the journey has already begun.
