Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to those who are Stateside.

But it’s never been my favorite holiday, and my memories of it are bland… The Thanksgiving experience of a lone childhood vegetarian (the only one in my family in those days) is an experience of eating minimal biscuits and corn while everyone around you is feasting on heavily prepared turkey.

They’re not bad memories, quite, just very boring ones. Erase all Thanksgiving memories from my childhood, and I would lose nothing.
