Brussels

November 25, 2009

This is only the first stop on a wide-ranging Low Countries tour. Brussels is gloomy in terms of weather, but it was an Epicurean field day, from dal ravioli to Venezuelan chocolate that may as well be illegal (the Pierre Marcolini staff said that they’ve never had anything better). I’m still buzzed from the chocolate. Oh yeah, saw the Magritte exhibit on top of that, with one of the dearest people on the planet. Couldn’t ask for a better day.

Plus, may get to talk Whitehead tonight with someone who really knows Whitehead– none other than Didier Debaise. Still trying to find a time.
