Philip Glass on Sesame Street

Somehow I missed this in childhood, probably because it was a bit after my time– I was no longer watching Sesame Street with a straight face in the late 1970’s, and was still way too young to be watching it again for retro nostalgia value. But apparently that is the very period when Philip Glass wrote the music for a number of short animations on the show, many of them available on YouTube, and all of them wonderful. I discovered them less than an hour ago.
