To continue this intermittent series… I count 19 good things and 12 bad things that happened in October. That’s a slightly less positive ratio than usual, but all of the 12 bad things were fleeting annoyances with, at most, a couple of days’ worth of bad effects. But many of the 19 good things were steps forward that are probably irrevocable.
