Toyota marketing scheme gone awry

A Los Angeles woman is filing a lawsuit, and quite understandably so, about a Toyota marketing campaign. The campaign involved HARASSING HER WITH A FICTITIOUS STALKER WHO THREATENED TO COME STAY AT HER HOME after he supposedly caused trouble in various places around the country. They even created a fake MySpace page for the stalker.

The next step, I suppose, is to scare people with bogus home invasion robberies, forcing them to kneel against the wall, and then tell them it was all a joke and give them t-shirts for Subway or Pizza Hut.
