I wouldn’t claim that Plato contains as many weird passages as Aristotle (who has so many, almot unnoticed). But there are often things of the following sort, which could never be heard anywhere else than in a Platonic dialogue:
“Now, do we know cases where thirsty people are unwilling to drink?”
“Certainly,” he said, “it is a common occurrence.”
