the Kofmel case
October 8, 2009
It’s all news to me, though presumably quite familiar in the UK. I’ve received a couple of additional messages describing various personal experiences with Kofmel, none of them pleasant.
Here is his blog, still alive despite his fugitive status, with the remarkably self-congratulatory title “ME AGAINST MEDIOCRITY.”
While combatting mediocrity, Kofmel faces an additional and perhaps more daunting struggle against THE SUSSEX AND HAMBURG POLICE, THE ZÜRICH PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, AND INTERPOL.
[ADDENDUM: The caption under his mugshot says “from May 2008 arrest at London School of Economics”. Huh? Now that sounds like a dramatic LSE moment. If anyone knows the story or has a link, please e-mail it to me.]
