forgot to mention

It looks as though I’ve bought about 630 books during my years in Cairo. That amounts to around 70 per year, or nearly 6 per month. One new book every 5 days on average.

That’s probably true, and seems excessive. I doubt I’m reading a whole book every 5 days, so I’m just creating a backlog of “oh yeah, I might want to read this someday” volumes on the shelf.
