a bit more on Alaska

And as I’ve said before, if you ever have the chance to visit Alaska, make sure to do so. I’m not even the outdoorsy type, and I loved it anyway. Not only is Alaska always beautiful when looking in almost any direction, it’s also one of those places where you have a legitimate chance of interesting animal sightings at any given moment. The herd of wild bison was a highlight. No bears or moose or wolves, though I suppose that may have been lucky.
