Drew sent an e-mail about what I said concerning the outsourcing of videogame play abroad. Apparently this is a well-known phenomenon based on what Drew said, though I didn’t realize it. He adds that the practice offends the sense of meritocracy among gameplayers, and provided a link that I am unable to copy and paste for the aforementioned reason.

Weird coincidence this morning at breakfast… A youngish-looking woman approached and greeted me, and it took a few seconds before I realized, out of context, that it was indeed someone I know. She was in Manchester for a (successful) job interview, and stayed in the same hotel purely by chance.
