Comp. of Phil. update

I have another happy day of tour guide duty for new faculty coming up tomorrow (set up Egyptian mobile phones for them, take them to the travel agency to book a nice pre-semester trip to the coral reefs, etc.). Knowing that, I wanted to end the day feeling I’d made more headway into Chapter 6. So I took a crack at 6B, and nailed it pretty quickly.

From zero to finish, that section took 66 minutes: perfectly in line with the sections in the first five chapters, but while covering far more difficult material. I’m very happy with that. Chapter 7 is now perfectly set up.

Total writing time on the project is now:

28 hours, 19 minutes
for 77 pages

If it weren’t midnight with a day of social obligations ahead, I’d probably just stay awake until 6C and 6D were finished, but I can’t do that now.
