slowing me down

“I mentioned a week ago or so that I’d located a piece of software, Capo (pronounced Cape-o), that’s intended for musicians (e.g., to slow down guitar riffs so transposition is more easily done). I purchased it this morning so I could listen to more than a few minutes of your talks (only a snippet could be played using the unlicensed version of Capo).

You’re best understood by me at 3/4 speed!

It is a bit of a hoot that your rapid-fire delivery can be slowed down without loss of the precise manner of your way of speaking. Indeed, if I run the talk at 1/2 speed the presentation verges on the contemplative!”
