today and tomorrow
April 17, 2009
First UCD lecture coming up in about half an hour. They wanted an informal seminar, but no one in Ireland seems to use index cards, so instead I have 32 pages of a tiny spiral notebook to work from.
Tomorrow they are taking me to Newgrange, 1000 years older than Stonehenge and thus even older than the Egyptian pyramids. In fact, some people apparently call it the world’s oldest building. Better yet, the taxi driver said the weather may clear up tomorrow.
