darkest room ever (later revoked)

With dusk at hand, I now realize that this is also the darkest hotel room I’ve ever been in! There’s a nice reading room, but I don’t feel like putting on a jacket and tie just to go read (that’s the rule for the reading room too; not sure about snooker).

So, maybe check in early. That’s what dark is good for. And dream of newly established philosophy academies in Lapland and further into the Arctic, as well as the northern coast of Greenland.

ADDENDUM: packages of shortbread cookies included with a hotel room is a good idea. I also have the complimentary banana that Soup Dragon offered on the way out of lunch (another good idea).

REVOCATION OF POST: It’s not the darkest hotel room ever. There’s an incredibly powerful lamp in here, disguised as a pitifully weak lamp. I tried it just to try everything, and it was like a sunburst throughout the room.
