good day so far

This morning’s London drizzle has given way to sun. Had a very nice walkabout with two of the great people I know in this city, with two others coming up.

Recent travel has been wonderful. However, most of it lately has been to places I already know. The last trip on which I felt really, really overjoyed was to Toulouse in November, and that just happens to be the last time I went somewhere I had never seen before. I guess that’s a good rule of thumb for me, then… Cut down on repeat visits, even to places I really like such as Amsterdam, London, and Paris, and increase the number of visits to never-seen-before places.

The only problem is, I’m starting to run out of never-seen-before places in Egypt. However… there are many different “life worlds” in Egypt, and even within the Cairo city limits, and I suppose it would be possible to start entering more of those and having a look.
