If all goes well, I’ll get to discuss Roy Bhaskar today with one or more people. Whenever I open up A Realist Theory of Science, it seems remarkable that it dates from– what, 1974? (ADDITION: 1975.) It was well ahead of its time, and is certainly a world where I enjoy hanging out fairly often.
