Schiphol Airport
April 12, 2009
It’s certainly my favorite airport in Europe. In fact it’s the only airport I know of anywhere that decreases stress levels while travelling. Very comfortable somehow.
Lots of people dump on Heathrow, and there is much bad to be said about Heathrow. But I can’t give “worst airport” prize to any but one (and I don’t mean “Franz Kafka International”). Hints: it’s in Europe, northeast of one of the greatest cities in the world, named after a WWII commander and later President of his Republic more than once. I despise that airport, and can feel my blood pressure rising each time I enter it. They almost seem to try to make it confusing.
Amsterdam has a great one, though.
